Lithos Manufacturing continues to elevate Filipino innovation as its latest research gains global recognition. The company’s third study on Philippine Natural Zeolites (PNZ) was presented at the prestigious International Clay Conference 2024 held at Trinity College Dublin—a leading venue for scientific collaboration and discovery.

This milestone was achieved in partnership with the Synchrotron Light Research Institute and the University of the Philippines Diliman, highlighting the strength of both local and international collaboration in advancing science and technology.

Led by Eleanor Olegario, the study explores the potential of copper-modified Philippine Natural Zeolites to adsorb hydrogen sulfide (H₂S)—a harmful gas commonly associated with waste and industrial processes. This breakthrough offers a promising pathway for waste-to-energy innovations in the Philippines, addressing key environmental challenges such as emissions control and sustainable resource management. By utilizing locally available materials like PNZ, the research promotes cost-effective and scalable solutions for cleaner energy systems.
